A mind,under glass.
Cloche runs a language model entirely inside your browser, on your own GPU. You can watch it think. Nothing it hears ever leaves the glass — not to a server, not to us.
Talk to it. It can't tell anyone.
Pick a mind for your machine. Its weights arrive once and stay in your browser; every word after that is computed on your own graphics card.
Choose how big a mind to place under the glass. Bigger is smarter, slower to arrive and needs more graphics memory.
Pull the plug. It keeps thinking.
Anyone can promise privacy. This you can test in ten seconds: there is nowhere for your words to go.
Place a mind
Load a model above. Its weights come in once, then the page needs nothing else from the internet.
Turn off your Wi-Fi
Airplane mode, unplug the cable, switch off the router. The glass turns cold and white when it notices.
Keep talking
It answers anyway. Open DevTools → Network if you like: there is nothing to see.
This conversation never left the glass.
How a mind fits in a tab.
Weights arrive once
Open-weight model files download from a public CDN, one time. It's the only thing that ever comes in.
Kept in your browser
They're stored in your browser's own cache, on your disk. Next visit, the mind is already home.
Computed on your GPU
WebGPU shaders run every layer of the network on your graphics card. Your words never become a request.
Nothing leaves
No account, no logs, no telemetry. Close the tab and the conversation is gone — it only ever lived in memory.
Instruments that only read zero.
Four gauges, wired to this page. The first one is live — it counts every request your browser makes after the mind is sealed. Watch it not move.
Three kinds of “private”.
| Cloud AIchat apps | Enclave AIconfidential computing | Clocheunder glass | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Where your words go | To the company's servers | Encrypted, to someone else's hardware enclave | Nowhere. They stay in this tab |
| Who could read them | The provider, by policy | No one, if you trust the chip and the attestation | Only you |
| Works offline | No | No | Yes, after the first load |
| What you trust | A privacy policy | Hardware vendors and remote attestation | Your own browser — and you can watch the network |
| The honest catch | — | Big models, but not on your machine | Smaller models: your device sets the limit |
The glass is your hardware.
Specimen card
Reading your machine…
Everything on this card comes from your own browser's WebGPU adapter. Bigger graphics memory means a bigger mind can fit under the glass.
Keep your thoughts under glass.
